Develop the skills you need to succeed in your career with DASH, the highly interactive professional development program designed exclusively for recent FIU graduates and students currently enrolled in the Chapman Graduate School. During this seven-week program, you will benefit from career and life coaching, professional networking and discussions on timely business topics highly relevant to your career.

- Presentations by, and discussions with, a diverse group of industry experts on timely business topics (a minimum of ten one-hour sessions using web synchronous conferencing tools, online on Wednesday evenings). Candidates will also have access to previously recorded sessions. Participants are expected to take part in at least five sessions.
- Discounted rates on webinars and events sponsored by industry affinity groups such as the CFA Society Miami, Greater Miami SHRM, SAP Miami and others

Professional Coaching
Research shows that 80 percent of people who receive coaching report increased self-confidence, and more than 70 percent benefit from improved work performance, relationships, and more effective communication skills.
DASH participants will be matched with a professional coach, based on their career goals and development interests.
Professional Coaching
- Participants will meet with a professional coach at mutually convenient times at least three times via video or phone conference over the course of the program
- Coaches will provide timely industry and career advice tailored to the participants' areas of interest
- Coaches will share relatable professional experiences from which participants can learn and grow
- Participants will establish mutually beneficial business relationships with professionals in their area and desired industry
Professional Networking
Much has been written about the power of "breaking bread together" in helping to foster greater collaboration and bonding. The DASH networking opportunities will prove invaluable to your future career advancement.
DASH participants must attend the networking event, to be hosted by FIU Business. This will be an opportunity for participants to meet with the personal coaches, local executives and other DASH participants.

Program Schedule
DASH participants will be expected to take part in at least five one-hour sessions held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. These include the Introduction to Dash, the Professional Networking Reception, plus three sessions on a business topic of their choice. Participants can participate in as many modules as they want. There is tremendous value derived from attendance at the Networking Reception, so candidates are highly encouraged to attend this two hour session where they will meet potential coaches and speakers.
